Meet The Staff and Leadership
Jeff Wolfington
Senior Pastor
Pastor Jeff Wolfington was called to Lifeway as Senior Pastor in the fall of 2023. Pastor Jeff accepted Christ as his Savior at 8 years of age in Topeka Kansas. He grew up in the church, assisting in various areas including a nursing home ministry in 7th grade.
He joined the Army band where he was a trombone player for 20 years. He then attended William Jewel College where he earned his Church Music degree.
Jeff has been a part of several church denominations over the years but has spent most of his life in Southern Baptist affiliated churches.
He went on to receive his Master of Divinity degree from Midwestern Seminary with an emphasis in Biblical Languages. He most recently served in Leavenworth, Kansas and Agency, Missouri.
Pastor Jeff has served as Senior Pastor, Minister of Music, youth leader, and has experience with discipleship, small groups, and college ministry.
Pastor Jeff is married to Amber and they have three children.
Jeremiah Lincoln
Outreach Pastor
Pastor Jeremiah Lincoln got saved radically on January 16, 2018, at 9:30 a.m. at his parents’ house. Immediately, God began to work on restoring Jeremiah and his family. Jeremiah is married to Alicia, and they have two kids together, daughter Peyton and son Pryce.
In March of 2019, the Lord moved Jeremiah and his family across the US from California to Lynchburg Virginia where they plugged into a church family. While spending 18 months in Virginia, Jeremiah was involved in urban ministry and a men’s group where he shared his heart and love for men while always pointing to Jesus. Jeremiah and his family were part of a family Life group weekly where they used their story to help other couples through their struggles in marriage.
In December of 2020, the Lord opened an opportunity for Jeremiah and his family to move to Torrington and was brought onto the staff at Lifeway Church as the Outreach pastor in 2022. Since moving to Torrington and serving at Lifeway, Jeremiah and his family have a heart’s desire to serve the church and the community in any way they can. Their goal is to love anyone who the Lord places before them and share the hope that they have through Christ Jesus.
Jeremiah filled in as in Interim Pastor for a few months in 2023.
Ryan Larkin
Worship/Youth Pastor
Ryan and his family came to Lifeway in July of 2018 from southwest Missouri. After seeing that Ryan has a passion and ability for leading God’s church in worship, he was asked to step into the role of leading worship for Lifeway in the fall of 2018. God has blessed him with musical talent, and he is grateful for the opportunity to use his talent in serving the Lord.
Ryan and his wife Shelby also have a passion for youth. In 2021 they began piecing together a youth ministry for Lifeway. Through God’s guidance and grace, they continue to lead our youth program, and love being able to minister to youth as they navigate this tricky time through their teenage years. They believe that youth are a crucial part of the Church, as they are the next generation of leadership and ministry to God’s people, as well as the rest of world that they interact with. Relationships with our young people are important, and if our youth don’t have a strong foundation and relationship with Christ, rooted in God’s Word, how will they be able to stand firm or know where to turn when the world tells them lies and tries to knock their legs out from under them? It is Ryan and Shelby’s prayer that God use them to develop these relationships and disciple our youth in a relationship with Jesus and equip them to take the Good News of Jesus to their friends, and the rest of the world, wherever they go.
Ryan and Shelby have two children, Cooper and Tessa.
Tim McFarland
Technical Director/Webmaster
Tim McFarland has been a "techie" since shortly after he was born, or so it seems. He became a part of Lifeway the spring of 2017. Tim participated on our worship team as a vocalist for a short time while helping with the sound system. He later took on the responsibility of completely re-vamping and maintaining the church website. Tim now oversees the technical aspects of our church and trains others on the most up to date technology. Tim couldn't do his job without having a wonderful volunteer crew that assists in the tech booth.
Tim is a self-taught technician, and has taken extensive courses in theatre technology with an emphasis in sound and lighting design from the University of Wyoming. He also has experience in the television and print media industry and owns and operates a full service media business. Tim can be reached here.
